THE STORY

This one begins with a cotton mothers already love — the soft, everyday-strong handloom cotton woven in India's handloom villages, where whole families work the looms together and that craft feeds the village around them. We picked their evergreen orange-and-pink, then gave the fabric our own twist: a tie-up crop top with the sweetest pleated peplum and little tassels, over a pleated skirt with a silk border. The colours are the point — bright, pure, and joyful. Rich colour, gentle on the skin, smooth throughout; just clean, happy colour, because we like our festive wear as bright as the future we're raising our little ones for. And it's made the way all our clothes are made — by hand, with high care, by women in a clean, fair and dignified workshop. The shoulders tie up and the back closes with press buttons, so getting her ready is quick, and the pleats — on both the peplum and the skirt — are set with the same inch-by-inch precision that keeps them crisp wash after wash.

Craftsmanship & stitching

Stitched with high care. Tie-up shoulders and a press-button back make dressing easy, and the pleats — a pretty pleated peplum on the top and a full pleated skirt below — are precision-set to fall straight and stay that way, wash after wash. Tassels and ties are securely finished; every set is hand-checked before it reaches you.

Care instructions

Handloom cotton and its silk border like gentle handling. Cold hand-wash or a delicate machine wash with mild detergent, turn inside-out to protect the border, dry in shade, and press on low to keep the pleats crisp. Wash separately the first time, and a mild detergent keeps the colours rich.
