THE STORY

Every little boy wants to be Dad on a festival morning — same shirt, same veshti, same walk. So we made him his own. An olive-green shirt, scattered with delicate buta, over a cream veshti trimmed in olive and gold, and detailed every single way — front, back, sides, sleeves — so it blends together perfectly and reads properly grand. Put it on him and he's the hero of the day. Truly, every time. The clever part is the veshti. A real dhoti is beautiful and impossible to keep on a running five-year-old — so ours fastens with velcro. It wraps on, sticks, and holds: ottiko, kattiko, done. Smooth and secure, it stays right where it should, all through the sadya. And it's made the way everything we make is made — soft, gentle cotton, stitched with high care by women in a clean, fair and dignified workshop, to the same standard as the rest of our Onam collection.

Care instructions

Cotton likes gentle care. Fasten the velcro before washing to keep it smooth, then cold machine wash on a delicate cycle with mild detergent, turn inside-out to protect the border, dry in shade, and warm iron if needed. A mild detergent keeps the colours rich.
