A boys' kurta and pant set in the same goldenish tone as our Onam pavadai — that warm gold that's neither lemon nor mango, but exactly in between — in a lightly slubbed cotton that catches the light. The mandarin-collar kurta pairs with cream pants finished in fine golden stripes and a gold hem. It's the brother half of the set, made for sibling twinning at Onam, Diwali and weddings: silk-cotton, gentle on the skin, smart enough for the photograph and soft enough for the running-around after. THE STORY

Meet the brother to the goldenish pavadai. We took the same warm gold the girls wear — that colour that hovers right between lemon and mango — and wove it into a lightly slubbed cotton that shifts and glows in the festival light. Then we cut it into a kurta a boy can live in: a neat mandarin collar and button placket, a little chest pocket, side slits, easy short sleeves. Line the two up for a family photo and they belong together, because they do. Boys' clothes get lived in hard, so we built for it: soft, gentle cotton, reinforced where it counts, buttons sewn to stay. Smart for the festival, comfortable long after the last photo. And it's made the way everything we make is made — by hand, with high care, by women in a clean, fair and dignified workshop, to the same standard as the rest of our Onam collection.

A goldenish slub cotton kurta with a cream striped cotton pant — breathable, soft, and free of itch, in the same warm palette as our goldenish pavadai. Sustainably and ethically made.

Craftsmanship & stitching

Stitched with high care: a clean mandarin collar, button placket and chest pocket, with side slits for easy movement and reinforced seams for real play. Buttons are sewn on twice; the pants have a comfortable elastic waist. Every set is hand-checked before it reaches you.

Care instructions

Cotton likes gentle care. Cold machine wash on a delicate cycle with mild detergent, turn inside-out to protect the colour and stripes, dry in shade, and warm iron if needed. Wash separately the first time, and a mild detergent keeps the colours rich.
